New cars for official use of top cops

HEADS of police were handed keys to their new vehicles for official use yesterday in a small ceremony held at the Police Training Centre, Gadong.

Presenting the new keys was Police Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam CP Dato Paduka Seri Hj Hasrin Dato Paduka Hj Sabtu.

Also present were Deputy Police Commissioner DCP Dato Seri Pahlawan Bahrin Mohd Noor and other senior officers.

According to a press statement issued by the RBPF, directors of six police departments will be able to use a black Toyota Camry for official purposes.

The directors are from the following departments: Criminal Investigation; Operations; Criminal Intelligence; Administration and Finance; Logistic and Investigation and Traffic Control.

In addition, the four commanding officers of each district will also be using brand new black Mitsubishi Magnas.
