DWS lauded for prompt action on water leakage

Dear Editor,

A letter on water leakage near Chempaka park, Batu Satu, Jalan Tutong was published recently with the photo in your esteemed newspaper. As a result, the Department of Water Services (DWS) initiated prompt action.

Since the stubborn leakage could not be located, the DWS did the next best thing; laid new pipe in the vicinity.

The contractor worked through late hours to ensure that the project was completed in the earliest possible time frame. The leakage has ceased to the relief of the residents in the vicinity
