MSI has just unveiled their latest multimedia notebook, the FX400.

"The 14-inch notebook comes decked out with an Intel Core i5 (2.4GHz) processor and 2GB of RAM and is more than capable of playing back high definition content," the company said.

Complementing the FX400's HD video playing capabilities, is high quality audio thanks to its dual THX-class speakers and support for THX TruStudio surround sound.

The fun doesn't stop there it also has a dedicated nVidia GeForce GT325M graphics processor with 1GB of VRAM that makes it great for playing games as well as for heavier tasks like photo editing.

When not in use for graphics intensive applications, the notebook's GPU Boost technology automatically switches graphics cards to optimise performance and save battery power, MSI said.

The FX400 can be equipped with a 250GB, 320GB or 500GB hard disk. It also has a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity and a HDMI port as standard features. The Star/ANN
