SONY'S eagerly anticipated motion sensing game controller, the "PlayStation Move" for the PlayStation3 is set to get its local introduction at a media event in Petaling Jaya next week.
The Move is Sony's special handheld motion controller wand, which when used together with the PlayStation Eye camera, allows gamers to move and interact with virtual objects within games. Additionally, the Move also works with a dedicated navigation controller to control a character's movement.
The new controller will work with a variety of games that include Sports Champions, which a collection of sports games that take advantage of the motion controls. Also included in the Move lineup are games such as Time Crisis Razing Storm, Resident Evil 5 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.
Sony says the Move is expected to go on sale here in the middle of September.The Star/ANN
