Calling all Belait cagers to register for U-23 tournament

THE Belait District Basketball Association is calling all eligible teams to register for next month's Under-23 Basketball Tournament.

The competition will be held at the Kg Baru basketball court in Seria and will commence on July 26.

The tournament, which is sponsored by Rudin Company and Khoon Fen Company, is open to all players holding a valid Brunei IC and must be born in 1988 or later to be eligible.

It is aimed to promote and develop the interest and standard of basketball in the country.

Each team shall comprise of one manager, one coach, one assistant coach, one officer and 12 players.

Each official and player can take part in only one team.

Entry fee is set at $200 per team and registration forms can be obtained from Wong Hwa Seng Trading in Seria.

Interested parties will have to submit completed entry forms together with registration fees no later than 1pm on July 17.
