THE Belait District will be organising the Inter Badminton Tournament on April 1-15 at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club Multi-Purpose Hall Badminton Courts in Seria.
Secondary school and college students in the district are invited to compete and battle for top honours in the annual competition.
The tournament seeks to foster close relations between participating schools to promote the sport while providing a venue for competition exposure for potential young shuttlers.
In an effort to encourage a more active and healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, the organisers also hope to support the nation's call for sports excellence by organising a competitive tournament for the students in the district.
The tournament is supported by the Brunei National Badminton Association, Belait District School Curriculum Department and Brunei Shell Recreation Club.
Registration forms can be obtained at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club Multi-Purpose Hall and must be submitted no later than March 3.
