DPMM FC received a welcome boost ahead of their Singapore League (S-League) campaign when 10 local companies signed on as sponsors last night.

Present to witness the ceremony at the Pelangi Hall of Riverview Hotel was the club's vice-chairman YAM Pg Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pg Anak Haji Abdul Rahim Pg Indera Mahkota Pg Anak (Dr) Kemaludin Al-Haj.

The sponsors weren't the only ones who put pen to paper last night, with the club's 21 local players all signing their contracts for the 2012 season as well.

Representing DPMM FC during the player signings were club manager Pg Waslimin PSJ Pg Hj Abd Momin and team manager Ali Hj Momin. Marketing manager Hj Momin Hj Md Ja'afar joined Pg Waslimin for the company signings. Several local companies also contributed an undisclosed amount.

Brunei's only professional club, DPMM FC start their S-League campaign with a tantalising tie against titleholders Tampines Rovers FC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas next Sunday.
