INITIALLY there were seven of them, but now only one remains.
Siti Zirwatul Iradah Adinin is the sole survivor from Brunei for a chance to represent the Red Bull Rookies Racing Team at the Sepang 1,000KM (S1K) race.
She departed the Sultanate yesterday for the final elimination round to be held today at the Sepang International Airport in Kuala Lumpur.
She is the only Bruneian to have made it past the first two elimination rounds in May and June respectively.
A total of 16 qualifiers will take to the track in Sepang today and the final four (two male and two female) will then be selected to join the anchor drivers for Race Day on Dec 6-8.
Mark Darwin and Melissa Huang were selected as the anchor drivers for the male and female teams respectively.The Brunei Times
