Sailing Yacht Petima is 11.2m in length and completely constructed from wood. A spacious yacht with both indoor and outdoor seating, she has all the modern amenities that you would get in a house such as fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower area and sleeping area. Her owner Captain Peter Moeller has sailed Petima half way around the world from his native Germany arriving here in Brunei last year. Petima has sailed across the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean through various weather conditions and has an impeccable safety record.

When The Brunei Times asked Captain Moeller why he decided to set up a sailing business here in Brunei, he replied: "It's a perfect location. The water on the Brunei River is always calm with no waves or reefs. The water is so calm that there is no possibility of guests getting sea sick." Guest can be assured that it is a very safe area to go sailing. The Brunei River is a beautiful location and locals can get a feel for what Brunei looks like from the water. Guests are already surprised at how different their country looks from the waterside.

Sailing is an opportunity that Bruneians haven't had a chance to explore as nobody has offered this activity here in Brunei before. A lot of people don't realise how beautiful Brunei is from the water. There are so many natural sites and areas to explore.

Peter's wife Aideen suggests that it's a perfect way to relax after a hard day at the office or on your day off. Leave your mobile phone behind on the jetty and enjoy the local environment, feel the wind on your face and just let all the office politics disappear. "Our service is very popular with businesses bringing their staff together in a different environment away from work to get to know each other better and to bond, " she said. "It's a perfect opportunity they can relax on deck enjoy a swim and have some lunch onboard as well," she further added.

Families are also welcome onboard Petima. It's a great experience for children of all ages to come onboard and get some sailing experience. They can get a feel for what its like to sail an ocean going vessel right here in Brunei. Aideen explains with most of their sailing packages, they offer light snacks and beverages. We know how the Bruneians love to eat no matter what activity they are undertaking, and we cater for this. So if you want a completely different dining experience we offer Fine Dining onboard sailing vessel Petima for two, four, six and eight persons. This is an exclusive sit down four course meal which is cooked onboard while you sail on the Brunei River.

Our Fine Dining packages start at 7.30pm and run till 10pm. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for those who want to experience something completely different here in Brunei.

If we have groups greater than eight we offer a buffet dinner option.

The buffet option can be served either inside the pilot house or on deck, depending on the weather.

This is perfect for people who want something a little more casual and like to eat and move around on deck while watching a fantastic sunset.

Weddings are very poplar here in Brunei and what a perfect option for your wedding photos.

We have had a lot of couples looking to take photos onboard our yacht posing with different scenarios.

We also drop the anchor near an island so couple can go ashore and take some photos from the beachside.

We find the best time of the day and the best light is in the evening around sunset.

The photos turn out amazing and the clients are very very happy.
