Prize presentation for Kapal Api contest

A prize presentation for kapal Api coffee display contest 2009 was held yesterday at the Millennium restaurant. This is the second time Indadi Utama (M) Sdn Bhd with a joint effort together with its local sole distributor agent in Brunei Darussalam, Bintang Ria Sdn Bhd, organises event. "We are happy to say that the response we received are very positive and upbeat from all the participants," said company officials. This contest ran from May 15 to June 30.

The contest is divided into two categories. Category A comprised the upper trade such as hypermarket and supermarket; whereas Category B covered the lower trade such as mini marts. For Category A there were a total of 13 contestants and for the latter, 23 contestants.

The champion for Category A was Hua Ho Department (Bunut) who won cash prize of $1,288. The first runner up went to Hua Ho Department Store (Manggis) with a cash prize of $988. The second runner up went to Giant TMC (B) Sdn Bhd with cash prize of $688.

The champion for Category B is Perusahaan Ala Hj Bolhassan who won cash prize of $588. The first runner up went to Syarikat Gaya Abadi with $488. Meanwhile, TM Majeed Supermarket won as second runner-up and won $388.

Jimmy Tiong, the Managing Director of Bintang Ria Sdn Bhd presented the prizes to the champion winners while Business Director Patrick Choo and the Marketing Assistant of Indadi Utama (M) Sdn Bhd presented prizes to the first and second runner ups, respectively.The Brunei Times
